The movie I chose to do the dvd packaging is bourne trilogy. The concept is a passport for each of the films. The slip cover I still figuring out I think two directions for it. one is a safe deposit box and the other is journal like slip cover.
I like your concept, I think it fit the movies really well. I see on your slip cover that "Bourne Identity" is right on the edge, which creates tension.
The passport idea has an interesting concept. I like it. The silver box is looking pretty good as well but maybe all caps would be a better solution for the type. =)
If you could get a like a beat up metal box for the slip case that would be cool or just make it look like a metal box. Maybe you could make it look like a file folder and have a label on it that says "Jason Bourne"

I like your idea too, I haven't seen the movie, however, it looks really sophisticated.
Good idea of having a passport for each dvd. I think your first idea for the case looks best. Perhaps experiment with texture, color, and typography.
The DVD passport covers work really well. I like the texture that you have on your second picture. it's like a metaphor for the trilogy.

I like the textures and passport theme. I am a bit confused on the colored panels though, I think they seem a bit out of place.
