I really like #7 because the red circle draws my eye in but because the radio station number is bold it shows that it is obviously the most important piece of info. If one can't remember the station number what is the point? So I like that the number is at the top of your hierarchy scale. I also like the distressed look. It works really well for a rock station. Nicely done.

# 7 is your strongest logo. The light grungy type works but the overall logo needs more character. I'm not really sure what should be done to achieve that though. Also, there is bit too much negative space in the circle.
Hmm... I'm seeing the concept behind your logo design, but I'm having trouble remembering it. Creating a radio station logo is a little hard because there aren't many well designed ones today, other than KIIS, KROQ, and POWER. I do like the color choices, but having basic type with a little grungy effect is a little too generic. Maybe try going with a bolder type. But I do like 1 and 2 layout. I dont see the circle working, unless the circle is the O in rockaholic.
I understand you are going for a rugged look, but I don't think its successful yet. Have you tried making your own distressed shapes. I was running across the same problem, because I was trained to use default strokes. Try to create some yourself.
Everything seems too plain right now. You are depending to much on the type face that I don't see any straight forward icon.

I think number 7 is working the most but like I said before, the radio station is called "Star" so I don't think changing the name is a good idea. People know the station by its name. I also think that you should create a distinguishable icon to go with it. For a radio station, just having a grungy type isn't enough for this logo to be rememberable. It currently reminds of of the branding that they put on meat.
i like the ones without the circle.

I like the types that were used but it feeling like something is missing, like a graphic element. I liked the ones without the circle best. Maybe bolder type or adding another color would help.

I think 7 stands out the most because of the red, it would make for a good bumper sticker or street team sticker. If you want to make the whole logo feel even more distressed you could instead of using a circle, a spray painted circle like shape with paint drips.

Good job. I like #7. I think it works for a radio station well. One thing I would change about it is to either change the color of the outline for the circle or make the type "Rock A." smaller so it doesn't fade in with the outline of the circle.
I think I've seen this idea many times before... It's nice use of color combination that attracts your attention draws you in by the circle, the type treatment is cool but maybe overused... it feels a little empty too... Sorry for being so critical but i'm trying to help or maybe i'm just wrong...
No.1 or No.6 could work. For No.6, I think that only using the red type for rockaholics stands out, but in a good way because the black font also stands out and is much bigger and bolder; so there is balance in that composition.
The angle on No.1 is more greater than the one below it, and that works because the viewer knows that it was intentional; as opposed to the other one, it looks like a mistake.

I really like the circle one on #7 but at the same time it feels too contained in the circle. Maybe you can try a different style of circle. =)

I like the first one the most. But I feel like it still needs a little more work. Its kind of flat. I feel like its missing something but i dont know what. I hope that helped. :/ lol

hmmmm. needs a graphic icon or something to make it proprietary to your radio station. bring some of the elements closer together as it feels spread out overall.
simple and cool logo. I like the texture you put around the logos. Maybe try to do something to the circle than it won't become some work that have been done.
